Seven Sounds Music Facts
Event Staff
Certified Sound Engineers - Our sound engineers are technically proficient and certified to operate industry-leading audio equipment. Additionally, our sound engineers have an ear and feeling for music to deliver a rich sound for your audience and keep the performers sounding their best. Production Manuals - Our production manuals include preparation checklists to assure every aspect of the sound system is optimized for your event...including sound check, performer preferences, channel maps, SPL coverage, speaker tuning, EQ pinking, and venue acoustics. Service - You can count on professional service and results from each staff member...sound, video, backline, lighting, and more. Environment - With conventional sound systems, performers all-too-often experience the frustration of poor on-stage sound accompanied by the helplessness of placing repeated requests to the soundman which do little or nothing to improve the sound. Great performances begin with performing artists in an environment where they are comfortable and able to focus on their art. For live performances, Se7ven Sounds Music considers the sound system an extension of the performer. We focus on delivering a satisfying on-stage environment to artists, musicians, and performers so they can focus on inspiring the audience. |
Performer Advtg.
Stage Monitor Mix - Our sound engineers make sure the performer's needs are satisfied with an on-stage sound environment which allows the performer to hear, concentrate, and focus on their musical performance. Stage monitor mix preferences are discussed with performers and annotated to get the job done at showtime! Multi-Effects and Dynamics - Performer preferences for multi-effects (e.g., reverb, chorus, etc.) and dynamics are discussed and annotated to deliver the performer's unique sound ambiance. To meet present day's artist requirements, We can supply personal In-Ear monitoring systems or high end floor monitors, Side fills and wedges. Equipment - Se7ven Sounds Music uses excellent brand-name professional equipment to deliver live sound with audiophile detail and precision. |
Audio Excellence
Instrument Frequency Optimization - We don't just plug you in and turn up the gain. We recognize each instrument has it's own unique sound characteristics and EQ adjustments, when appropriate, can be made to achieve optimal sound for the given venue acoustics. We use recording studio techniques to enable each instrument to stand out in the mix, avoid "muddiness" due to frequency overlap, and provide the listener with a rich, well-balanced sound. Speaker Tuning - Every speaker has an optimal frequency range. Se7ven Sounds Music uses DOLBY LAKE processors QSC RAVE, BASIS and dbx® electronic active cross-over technology for tuning the frequency range to the unique characteristics of each speaker. This optimizes speaker efficiency, increases available power, and produces cleaner sound. Impedance Matching - Improper impedance matching can lead to excessive power use, distortion, and noise problems. For this reason, Se7ven Sounds employs precise impedance matching for all microphone, amplifier, and speaker configurations. |
